How quickly can our school go live?
Complete the onboarding form and our team will review it, typically within one business day. Once approved, your branded workspace is provisioned in minutes and the account owner receives secure setup instructions.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. You can begin on a VIDAN subdomain and connect a custom domain such as portal.yourschool.in later. We take care of the TLS certificate.
How is each school’s data kept separate?
Every tenant-scoped collection and query is isolated by tenant ID, with enforcement built into the data layer. Users only access the school workspace and records they are authorised to see.
Can we turn modules on or off?
Yes. Modules such as admissions, fees, transport, and payroll are plan-gated and configurable per institution, so your team sees only what it needs.
Does VIDAN support DPDP-aligned privacy needs?
VIDAN includes immutable audit logs, server-enforced access scopes, redactable personal data fields, and workflows that support data export and deletion requests.
What security controls are built in?
The platform uses TLS, short-lived access tokens, refresh-token revocation, public endpoint rate limits, bot protection during signup, and built-in audit logging.
